The High Heel Walk…

Have you ever had endearing companions – of the animal race that is?  I have three really interesting cats, each one with an interesting personality.

First there’s Mr Max A Million and he’s a cool cat weighing in at around 30 pounds.  He runs to the door to greet us when we come home, he talks up a storm and he’s very demanding – especially when it comes to getting treats!

Then there’s Opie Taylor, I really think he came for the food and decided to stay for the love.  He’s the cutest cat I have ever seen – his meow sounds like a kittens, his whiskers curl and his hair sticks out all over the place – like Linus.  Opie makes the most incredible jumps that I’ve ever seen – he flies through the air and it seems like – in the middle of the leap – that time stops for a moment, then it picks back up.  He can jump far and high.

Then there’s Shielynn.  She is just the most incredible, sweet and lovable cat that I’ve ever seen.  Her purrs are so loud that you can hear her across the room.  She loves poetry, rhyming words and little ditties.  She is always a princess in her every action.  She’s also tough, smart and a real rascal.

We have wood floors in our new space and when Shielynn walks on the floor, there’s a tap, tap as if she is wearing high heels.  Funny thing is, neither Max or Opie tap along on the floor, both are silent!
